Catalan Gothic mother cathedral with 13 white geese in its historic cloister
Construction began in 1298 under King Jaume II atop a 4th-century Roman paleochristian basilica. The neo-Gothic facade was completed in 1913 from 15th-century plans.
Catalan Gothic hall plan with three naves of equal height and 21 stained-glass rose windows. The choir preserves coats of arms of the 1519 Order of the Golden Fleece.
